First of all, Happy Holidays! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday :-)
The holidays are great for getting into the festive spirit, relaxing and spending time with loved ones... but at the same time I was looking forward to Boxing Day.
Over here, every 26th of December, many stores have sales. It's similar to Black Friday in the US.
The shopping mall was packed with people and the queues were all very long. To be honest, the sales weren't really that good either. But that's alright, as I'm saving money to spend on my trip next year!
I ended up buying 2 things:
Black Ankle Booties ($10 NZD, CottonOn), Floral Dress ($14 NZD, Temt)
I needed to buy a dress for New Years, I wanted something printed or colourful and something that was in between casual and formal. It was so difficult to find a dress I really liked, but I ended up buying the one above. The colours are a bit 'Christmassy' for me and I'm not sure if florals would still be in trend... but it was the best I could find and the back is really cute, with cut-out detailing.
